The bathroom at River Terrace Cottage was spotless and had a refreshing shower. It made me feel clean and relaxed after a long day exploring Motueka. As a traveler who values cleanliness and comfort, this was a definite highlight for me.
I personally would have preferred to have an additional bathroom in the cottage.

River Terrace Cottage was a great spot for outdoor activities like hiking and canoeing. Loved the garden barbecue and the mountain views from the terrace. The patio with river views was also a nice touch.
I just adored not having any towels provided in the holiday home. Such a delightful surprise!

I was impressed with the thoughtful touches like a stocked kitchen with salt, pepper, sauces, tea, coffee. the view from the cottage was exceptional, offering a fantastic view of the mountains. the shower and bathroom facilities were also top-notch, providing a great level of comfort. the hosts, Robyn and Peter, were very nice and made us feel welcome. it was a clean, tidy, and welcoming place with superb views and a peaceful setting. Cons: Not one thing 🙌.

Inside, the cottage was immaculate and welcoming, with comfy beds and a well-stocked kitchen complete with an electric kettle and plenty of cookware. We loved the extra touches like the complimentary biscuits and chocolates, and the speedy replies to our questions made us feel truly valued as guests. The shower and bathroom facilities were fantastic, and we found the abundance of dry firewood a super nice touch. We also appreciated the free parking and the flat-screen TV for some cozy movie nights. The location was perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with hiking and cycling trails nearby, as well as opportunities for fishing. The outdoor dining area provided the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast while taking in the mind-blowing mountain views. our stay was nothing short of exceptional, and we can't wait to come back and experience more of the area's natural beauty and hospitality.

The location was incredible, set in a beautiful river valley surrounded by stunning scenery. The cottage had blankets on the sofas, screens on the windows and doors, and plenty of kitchen utensils. The sunrise view from the outdoor deck was breathtaking, and the lighting in the rooms was stunning.
Limited firewood supply resulted in an early bedtime for some guests.

As vegetarians and vegans, we were delighted to find a well-stocked kitchen with plenty of utensils, allowing us to prepare our plant-based meals. the rural surroundings provided a peaceful and tranquil experience, with open views of farmland and the stunning Mt Arthur foothills. the hosts, Robyn and Peter, were very friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.
We felt right at home during our stay at River Terrace Cottage, with no complaints whatsoever.

The cottage had a nice private feel to it and the bed was comfortable. I also appreciated the wood stove, which added a cozy touch to the ambiance. the hosts were friendly and welcoming.
It was pretty chilly in the mornings before we got the fire going.
